After Karti, CBI conducts searches at father P Chidambaram’s homes

Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram said his homes in Delhi and Chennai were searched by the CIBI, on a morning when his son was also raided by the probe agency.

Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram said his homes in Delhi and Chennai were searched by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday. His son Karti Chidambaram was also raided by the federal probe agency earlier in the day.

“This morning, a CBI team searched my residence at Chennai and my official residence at Delhi. The team showed me a FIR in which I am not named as an accused. The search team found nothing and seized nothing. I may point out that the timing of the search is interesting,” P Chidambaram said in a tweet.
