After Ganga Puja, Akshay Kumar-Manushi Chhillar visit Somnath temple ahead of Samrat Prithviraj release

Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar visited Somnath Temple in Gujarat ahead of Samrat Prithviraj's release. The film is all set to see the light of the day on June 3.
Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar are all geared up for the release of their upcoming film, Samrat Prithviraj. On May 30, Akshay, Manushi, along with director Chandraprakash Dwivedi performed Ganga puja with Samrat Prithviraj's flag in the Varanasi ghat. And on May 31, the trio visited Somnath Temple in Gujarat.
Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar’s Prithviraj is now Samrat Prithviraj. The film releases in three days. Ahead of the same, the lead pair visited Somnath Temple in Gujarat. They paid their last respects to the fearless Samrat Prithviraj. They also carried Samrat Prithviraj’s flag in his honour.

In a statement, director Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi said, "Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan gave his life fighting for Bharatmata’s freedom. He defended India against Mohammad of Ghor, the merciless invader who wanted to plunder our country. Our film chronicles Samrat Prithviraj’s life and his contribution to our nation’s history. We have now sought blessings by performing the Ganga puja in Varanasi with his flag. We are now heading to the Somnath Temple with the holy water of Ganga to perform another puja with Samrat Prithviraj’s flag there.”
