Aditi Rao Hydari: Expected a lot of drama around Sufiyum Sujatayam but nothing happened

Actress Aditi Rao Hydari was a speaker on Day 1 of the India Today Conclave South. The actress took the stage for the session “CINEMA CENTRAL: The Girl on the Go: Acing Every Act”. Aditi Rao Hydari had an elaborate discussion with India Today journalist Shiv Aroor about working during the pandemic situation and her expereince in the North and South film industries. She also described how she expected “a lot of drama” after the release of her Malayalam film Sufiyum Sujatayam but nothing happened. Sufiyum Sujatayam is an inter-religion love story and Aditi Rao Hydari had expected the film to create a lot of drama. However, after the film released, nothing like that happened. “When it came to my Malayalam film Sufiyum Sujatayum, I was pre-empting a drama around that, but it didn't happen around. I mean, it tends to happen, but thankfully it didn't,” she told during the event.
