ABVP to give scholarships for economically poor but meritorious students

ABVP will be giving out scholarships for economically poor but meritorious students.
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), which is affiliated with the RSS, said on Tuesday that it will award scholarships to deserving children from economically disadvantaged homes, in partnership with the NGO Chhatra Kalyan Nyas.
The scholarship's goal is to help students who are currently enrolled in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses financially, according to a statement.
"Student achievers from various fields including academics, sports or other curricular activities can apply for this scholarship," the ABVP statement said.
"The eligible students can apply through the application form (Google Form) issued by ABVP Delhi, after which the students will be selected by the appointed selection committee based on the evaluation of their merit," it said.
Applicants will be required to attend an interview with their documents submitted at the time of application, the date and time of which will be announced soon.
The deadline to submit an application for the scholarship is March 24.
