In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday,in, actress Asha Negi called herself 'television's baby'. The actress was last seen in Abhay 3 with Kunal Kemmu.
Actress Asha Negi rose to fame in the television space with her hit show, Pavitra Rishta. Post the success of that show, Asha did several TV serials on the small screen. With her strong screen presence and acting prowess, Asha made a mark for herself on TV. However, the actress hasn't done any TV show in the recent past as she has been busy exploring OTT shows. Despite that, Asha Negi calls herself 'television's baby'.
In an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, Asha Negi mentioned that she is grateful for everything that TV gave her. "I am very grateful for what television gave me. Today, people know me because of television and whatever I have done on TV. I will always be a television baby. But ab itna patience nahi raha (I don't have enough patience now) to do a show for a year or two and the same character because it gets a little monotonous and boring. It requires long-term commitment. Sometimes you don't even get a single off in a month," said Asha.
As she continued to chat with us, Asha Negi further revealed why she enjoys doing web shows on OTT platforms. "Frankly, why I am doing OTT is because you do a show and you are done in a month or two. And then you move on and choose another character to play. So that's the reason why I am having fun doing OTT and I am very comfortable here. There is creative satisfaction because there is a lot of creative liberation. But I will always be grateful to TV for what it gave me and made me. But, at the moment, I am really enjoying the OTT space," she added.
On the work front, Asha Negi was last seen in Abhay 3 with Kunal Kemmu. The web show was released on April 8, on ZEE5.
