A video of Aamir Khan talking to a horde of journalists about his social media exit has gone viral. The actor announced his social media exit on March 15.

Aamir Khan announced on March 15 (a day after his 56th birthday) that he is quitting social media. He shared the statement on his Twitter handle, where the actor expressed his gratitude towards his fans and followers for wishing him on his birthday and also mentioned that he is quitting social media because he isn’t very active. Soon after Aamir announced his social media exit, a video of the actor surfaced online in which he can be seen talking to a horde of reporters. In the video, the actor can be seen citing the reasons why he quit social media and also urged people not to make up any theories. After attending a film screening in Mumbai, the actor was making his way out of the premises in a car when a horde of reports surrounded him asking about his social media departure. “Woh aap apni theories mat lagaiye. Main apne dhunki mein rehta hoon. Main social media mein hoon hi kahaan pe. Toh waise bhi main kuch nahi dalta (Don’t apply your theories. I stay in my own world and frankly, I am not that active on social media and don’t post anything),” the actor told the reporters.
