The testing agency released the revised key for the January session after reviewing objections. Candidates' scores were recalculated as nine questions were officially dropped across papers.
The National Testing Agency has released the final answer key for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Paper 1 (BE/BTech). Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check the confirmed responses and calculate their probable scores ahead of the result announcement.
The final answer key is available on the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in — and will be used to prepare the Session 1 results.
The revised key followed the objection window and confirmed that nine questions had been removed from the evaluation.
With the final key now published, candidates can match responses and understand how their scores were calculated. The update also explained why some students may notice slight changes between provisional estimates and final marks.
The examination was conducted across multiple shifts, and after reviewing challenges raised by candidates and subject experts, the agency corrected answers and deleted disputed questions.
The biggest change came in the form of dropped questions.

US authorities have arrested Super Micro Computer Co-founder Wally Liaw for allegedly smuggling $2.5 billion worth of Nvidia-powered AI servers to China. The case comes at a time when the US is tightening export rules to stop advanced AI hardware from reaching China amid the growing AI rivalry between the two countries.
