
586 contractual teachers to be reappointed in SDMC schools

South Delhi Municipal Corporation Mayor Mukesh Suryan has announced that 586 contractual teachers will be reappointed.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday met SDMC Mayor Mukesh Suryan to discuss the reappointment of 586 contractual teachers under 'Sarv Siksha Abhiyan'. The mayor said that he had written a letter to the Union Education Minister requesting him to reappoint contractual teachers under 'Sarv Siksha Abhiyan' so students enrolled in SDMC schools could get a better education.
"The contracts of these teachers have been renewed under the 'Sarv Siksha Abhiyan' from October 18, 2021, to March 31, 2022. Appointment letters will be issued after the submission of relevant documents by the teachers," SDMC Mayor Mukesh Suryan said.
