The Delta variant of Covid-19 has now been detected in several GCC countries. As a result, the UAE government is taking a cautious approach by adopting a slew of measures to winnow out the mutated strain of the virus.
The UAE government has put in place a slew of measures, including three-layer RT-PCR testing, to keep the new Delta variant from permeating the Gulf country by way of incoming travellers. Starting June 23, inbound passengers from South Africa, Nigeria, and India will be subject to these updated travel protocols announced by the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai. First identified in India, the Delta variant of Covid-19 has now been detected in many other GCC countries. As a result, the UAE government is taking a cautious approach by adopting three layers of PCR testing before and at the time of landing in Dubai to winnow out the mutated strain of the virus.More Related News
