India vs England: Yuzvendra Chahal has surpassed Jasprit Bumrah to become India's highest wicket-taker in men's T20Is, after accounting for the dismissal of Jos Buttler in the first T20I in Ahmedabad.
Wrist-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal added another feather to his already decorated cap as he became India's leading wicket-taker in the shortest format of the game during the first T20I match of the series against England in Ahmedabad, Friday. Yuzvendra Chahal surpassed India's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah to take the top spot in the India wicket-takers list in the T20I format. Chahal, 30, scalped his 60th wicket in the 8th over of England's innings when he got rid of Jos Buttler for 28, trapping him right in front of the stumps. England were off to a flying start as Buttler added 72 runs for the opening wicket with Jason Roy after India posted a below-average total of 124 for 7 after being put in to bat in the opening match of the series.
