PM Modi said Pakistan had bombs in its hands but now it has a begging bowl
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Pakistan, which has been troubling India since last 70 years and had bombs in its hands, now has a begging bowl. The enemies shiver like this when there is a ‘dhakad’ government.” He was addressing a rally in Haryana’s Ambala.
“Just 17 days are left for June 4. After the four phases of elections, the Congress and INDI alliance and all their friends, parties have been completely destroyed. These ‘INDI’ people took several steps against the country; however, the people have given them a befitting reply in the elections battlefield,” Mr. Modi said.
The Prime Minister said, “I give you all a guarantee. Your dreams are my resolution, 24/7 for 2047. There are four pillars of ‘Viksit Bharat’ – poor, youth, women and farmers. Modi wants to strengthen all these pillars in such a way that my country, my ‘Hindustan’ becomes strong.”
For the first time in a Lok Sabha election, the AIADMK forfeited deposits in seven constituencies. Cardiologist and MP-elect from Bengaluru Rural C.N. Manjunath, who contested from the BJP and defeated three-time Congress MP D.K. Suresh, said he was the “people’s candidate” and that it is their aspiration to see him in the Union Cabinet. In an interview with The Hindu, he claimed his victory was possible because those who were treated at the Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research became his “ambassadors”.
