Young girl rescues toddlers from malfunctioning lift. CCTV clip goes viral
India Today
A CCTV footage showing a young girl's quick action to rescue two children from a malfunctioning lift has gone viral.
A malfunctioning lift could have turned into a nightmare for two young children, if not for the swift action of another girl who refused to panic. A CCTV clip circulating on X shows a tense moment inside an elevator, where quick thinking made all the difference.
The CCTV footage begins with two small children standing inside a lift while an older girl remains outside, talking to them. As the doors start sliding shut, she instinctively moves forward.
What should have been a routine safety response, doors reopening upon sensing obstruction, does not happen. Instead, the panels continue closing.
Realising the danger, the girl pushes herself between the doors, using her hands to force a gap. A nearby woman rushes in to help. Despite the pressure of the closing panels, the child manages to hold her ground.
Once a narrow opening is created, she lifts one of the younger children and passes her into the arms of an adult outside. The second child is then guided out carefully by another woman. Only after both are safe does the girl step back, with an adult helping her out of the doorway.

Oil and gas refineries and hubs are up in flames not just in the Middle East, but also in Russia and the US. Crude oil prices have surged over $100 a barrel. With the energy infrastructure in the Middle East likely to take years to be rebuilt, the world could be set for the biggest oil disruption in history.

Speaking at the White House, Trump said the United States was in contact with "the right people" in Iran and suggested that Tehran was eager to reach an agreement to halt hostilities. "We're in negotiations right now," he told reporters, without offering further details on the scope or format of the talks.
