
Xiaomi launches Mi Mix Fold in Samsung Galaxy Fold-like design

The new Mi Mix smartphones arrives as company’s first foldable smartphone with an inward design, previously seen on Samsung’s Galaxy Fold devices.
Xiaomi on Tuesday launched the new Mi Mix smartphone in China. The smartphone was launched on the second day of a two-day virtual launch event hosted by the electronics maker in its home country. The event saw number of smartphones including Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro and the Mi Mix being launched over a course of two days. The company also launched the Mi Band 6, its new projector and even a water humidifier during the event. Xiaomi also announced its entry to the electric vehicles category. It will run a wholly-owned subsidiary to operate the electric vehicle business. The company estimates the eventual investment in the company in the next 10 years to reach $10 billion. Meta has hired the team behind the agentic AI startup Dreamer. The startup was founded by former Google executives Hugo Barra, David Singleton, and Nicholas Jitkoff, who will now work on Meta's agentic AI plans. While speculation has largely pointed to the Galaxy A37 and A57, a lengthy video recently surfaced ahead of any official confirmation, revealing the key specs and pricing of the devices.
