iMazing has come out with a new feature that can detect Pegasus spyware infection on an iPhone using the same methodology as Amnesty International's MVT. The feature presents the ability in a more user-friendly manner than ever before.
Revelations around the Pegasus spyware made waves around the globe recently. Created by Israel's NSO Group, the spyware exploited zero-day vulnerabilities to collect data from targeted smartphones without the user knowing anything about it. Naturally, since the extent of its use was uncovered, there has been a state of panic among high profile individuals with online footprints. A new feature on an app now promises to detect this spyware on iPhones. Called iMazing, the app works for both macOS and Windows and can be used to find out if a connected iPhone has been compromised by the spyware or not.
Meta has hired the team behind the agentic AI startup Dreamer. The startup was founded by former Google executives Hugo Barra, David Singleton, and Nicholas Jitkoff, who will now work on Meta's agentic AI plans. This announcement comes after Mark Zuckerberg acquired the AI social media platform Moltbook to bolster agentic AI development.
