
Woman dies after childbirth in Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences

The woman was supposed to deliver on January 22, but could not as she did not suffer pains, her family members said.
Anjali Patil, 31, a woman from Nilaji village, died after giving birth in Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences in Karnataka on January 28.
She was admitted to the hospital at night on January 27. Doctors helped her deliver a girl child through Caesarean section.
The woman was supposed to deliver on January 22, but could not as she did not suffer pains, her family members said. Doctors informed that the woman suffered sudden variation in blood pressure and died, they said.
Officers from the APMC police station visited the hospital.
The body has been sent for post-mortem.
