Woman constable in UP attempts suicide after accusing SHO of mental harassment

A woman constable at a police station in Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj allegedly attempted suicide on Monday after accusing the station house officer (SHO) of mental harassment. According to a report in the Times of India, Vaishali Pundir, who is stationed as a constable Sahawar Police Station, tried to hang herself but was rescued by her colleagues who took her to the hospital. Doctors said she was out of danger.
