
Woman constable in UP attempts suicide after accusing SHO of mental harassment

Vaishali Pundir, a woman constable at Sahawar Police Station in Kasganj, tried to hang herself after accusing Station House Officer (SHO) Rajesh Kumar of mental harassment. The district police have ordered an investigation into the matter.
A woman constable at a police station in Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj allegedly attempted suicide on Monday after accusing the station house officer (SHO) of mental harassment. According to a report in the Times of India, Vaishali Pundir, who is stationed as a constable Sahawar Police Station, tried to hang herself but was rescued by her colleagues who took her to the hospital.
