Winning margin of 5 MLAs in Assam Assembly election less than Nota

The winning margin of at least five this assembly election in Assam was much lesser than the votes that went for the Nota (none of the above) option.

The Nota (None of the above) option helped at least five candidates to secure a victory in the Assam Assembly election 2021. Five candidates, meanwhile, lost the Assam assembly election as their margin with the winning candidates was much lesser than the vote that went to the Nota. According to the results of the Election Commission, the winning margin in Nazira, Barhampur, Bijni, Dudhnoi and Teok assembly constituencies was much lesser than the NOTA vote.
