Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi as she was feeling unwell, sources said on Tuesday. Both her children, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, were present in the hospital, they added.
Rahul, however, left later. It was not immediately clear what was the exact cause behind Sonia Gandhi's latest hospitalisation.
The Rajya Sabha MP was earlier admitted to the same hospital in January this year due to respiratory discomfort.
At the time, doctors had determined that her bronchial asthma was mildly exacerbated due to the combined effects of cold weather and Delhi's air pollution.
