Maharashtra's education minister has said that she has plans to write to CBSE and ICSE to ask them to reconsider the dates for the upcoming board exams.
The government of Maharashtra has plans to write to national boards such as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), asking them to reconsider the dates for the conduction of the upcoming board exams. We'll also be writing to the CBSE, ICSE, IB, Cambridge boards, requesting them to reconsider their exams dates. (5/5) Maharashtra School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said that the government will write to CBSE, ICSE, IB, and Cambridge board regarding the postponement of the examinations due to the current Covid-19 surge across the country. Varsha Gaikwad announced that she will be writing to CBSE and ICSE after stating that the Maharashtra HSC and SSC exams 2021 have been postponed this year due to the current Covid-19 surge in the state in the past couple of weeks.
