In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Taapsee Pannu revealed if a sequel to Haseen Dillruba is being made. She starred in the film with Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane.

Back in 2021, Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane's film, Haseen Dillruba, took the internet by storm. It was released on the streaming giant Netflix and got mixed reviews from the critics and the audience. Cut to now, reports suggested that the makers of the movie are planning a sequel to Haseen Dillruba. And in an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Taapsee Pannu revealed if a sequel to her 2021 film Haseen Dillruba is actually being made.

During the promotion of Shabaash Mithu, IndiaToday.in sat down for an exclusive conversation with Taapsee Pannu. In the course of the interview, Taapsee was asked if a sequel to Haseen Dillruba was being made. To which, the actress said, "I am glad that people actually started anticipating it as soon as the film was released. People who saw it said it has the scope of a second part. I think it is them who has made us all think. I think Kanika (Dhillon) and Aanand (L Rai) sir are definitely on that job right now to try and see if it can turn into reality."

Meanwhile, Taapsee Pannu is gearing up for the release of her next film, Shabaash Mithu. The film is based on the life of Indian woman cricketer Mithali Raj. Directed by Srijit Mukherji, the film is scheduled to release in cinemas on July 15, 2022.

Post Shabaash Mithu's release, Taapsee will be seen alongside Pavail Gulati in Anurag Kashyap's Dobaaraa. It is reportedly based on the Spanish film, Mirage. And it has been produced by Ekta Kapoor. The actress also has Blurr and Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan? lined up in the pipeline.
