Why state should do like this: asks Bombay HC to Maha govt in Anil Deshmukh case

While hearing CBI's plea seeking certain documents in the Anil Deshmukh case after the Maharashtra government refused to share them, the Bombay High Court asked, "Why the state should do like this?"
The Bombay High Court asked the Maharashtra government on Friday why it could not share certain documents the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had asked for in the case against former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. The CBI needs certain documents to investigate their case against the former home minister, but it alleged that the Maharashtra government officials had refused to share those documents and annexures with them. The High Court asked the state to inform by Tuesday about the documents they would be able to share.More Related News
