WhatsApp says that it wants to give users more control over their privacy with the View Once feature.
After months of leaks and speculations, WhatsApp has finally made the View Once feature official. The feature as the name suggests removes a picture or a view after the message has been opened. WhatsApp says that it wants to give users more control over their privacy with the View Once feature. The feature had appeared multiple times during the beta tests previously until it was officially announced by WhatsApp. The View once media is only for immediate consumption, the media will not be saved to the recipient’s Photo Gallery. As WhatsApp says that no everything needs to be recorded permanently, sometimes things demand quick reaction and that is where the View Once feature comes into play. For instance, if you have forgotten the Wifi password of your home wifi or office wifi, you can quickly ask someone to write it and send it to you as View Once media. Stuff like password or ATM pins should not be stored in your phone’s gallery as you never know who will ramage through your gallery. With the View Once feature, you will get what you need and it also be destroyed after you have viewed it.More Related News
