Weather in Hyderabad may continue to fluctuate as India Meteorological Department on Friday (April 18, 2025) has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds (30-40 kmph) very likely in the city and its neighbourhood over the next 24 hours. The city which experienced hot temperatures, also received rains, gusty winds this week.
The IMD has issued a yellow alert to 16 districts for Saturday (April 19, 2025). Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds were forecast in isolated places in Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajigiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal. It has also forecast 11 districts to record temperatures ranging from 41°C to 44°C.
According to its maximum temperature report, the highest temperature on Thursday was recorded in Nizamabad (42°C), followed by Adilabad (41.8°C) and Medak (41.2°C).
