As Maharashtra continues to batter heavy rains for the fifth consecutive day, there has been massive flooding in Chiplun district. NDRF teams have been deployed in Bihar, West Bengal and Gujarat.
After Delhi received light rains on Wednesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that drizzling and a small dry patch is expected to continue over the weekend. The capital's maximum temperature is expected to hover at 34°c and the minimum temperature is predicted to be around 27°c on Thursday. On the other hand, India's financial capital Mumbai and its suburbs continue to witness heavy downpour for the past four consecutive days, causing waterlogging. The weather department has predicted heavy to very rainfall at isolated places in Maharashtra and has issued a 'red' alert for Mumbai. Waterlogging has been reported from several cities due to the heavy rainfall, halting traffic and causing problems for the commuters.More Related News
