We prefer a Virat Kohli who doesn't score runs: Ben Stokes responds to reporter's cheeky question

India vs England: Speaking to the press on the eve of the 2nd ODI in Pune, Ben Stokes also said the World No. 1 tag is not England's driving force but they would continue to play the brand of cricket that has brought them success in the recent past.

Ben Stokes was at his witty best on the eve of the 2nd ODI against India in Pune as he dealt with a cheeky question on Virat Kohli from a reporter who had suggested that the India captain had turned up his aggressive intent as the series between the two top-ranked sides progressed. Ben Stokes was asked if England preferred to see a "nice or spiky" Virat Kohli on the field. Responding to the question, Stokes said England are better off if they get a version of the India skipper that doesn't score runs. "In the 1st Test, we saw a nice Virat who helped Joe. Since then he has been a bit spiky. Which one do you prefer, a nice Virat or a spiky Virat?" a reporter asked.
