The West Bengal governor said that he was anguished over the absence of VCs of private universities at a meeting hosted by him.
Jagdeep Dhankhar, the West Bengal governor, expressed his anguish after the vice-chancellors of private universities did not attend a meeting hosted by the governor.
The governor said, "It is most unfortunate that chancellors and vice-chancellors of private universities, 11 in number, have not turned up for a meeting with the visitor who is also the governor of the state."
