The water level in the Manimuthar dam stood at 83.99 feet (the maximum level is 118 feet) with an inflow of 51.32 cusecs and discharge of 45 cusecs. The rainfall recorded in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Sunday was in (mm): Ambasamudram 11.60, Papanasam 21, Servalar dam 11, Nanguneri 1.20, Manjolai 6, Kakkachi 9, Nalumukku 12 and Oothu recorded 14 mm rainfall.
