
Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stands at 118.65 feet

Current water levels in Mullaperiyar and Vaigai dams in Madurai, with details on inflow, discharge, and storage capacity.
Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Saturday stood at 118.65 feet (permissible level is 142 ft.) with nil inflow and a discharge of 711 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 64.83 ft. (maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 499 cusecs and a discharge of 1,202 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 4,033 mcft.
