WATCH | Mumbai railway division holds mock drill with NDRF at Kalyan yard

The Mumbai Railway Division held a mock drill with the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) at Kalyan yard on Tuesday.

The Central Railway Mumbai division on Tuesday conducted a joint exercise with National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) on how to provide quick relief to victims in the event of a rail accident.The mock drill by NDRF and the Railways was carried out at the Kalyan yard.

NDRF personnel, equipped with relief gadgets, along with RPF officers, enacted how quickly services could be provided to accident victims such as taking them out of the bungled coaches, delivering medical aid etc.
