A Berlin-based athlete documented his 5.53 kilometre run inside a cramped airplane bathroom during an 11-hour flight, and shared the video on social media which received a whole lot of amused reactions.
At 35,000 feet above the ground, most passengers try to stretch their legs or catch some sleep. But one man managed to convert the cramped bathroom of a long-haul flight into his personal running track.
A man based in Berlin shared a video of himself attempting a 5-kilometre run inside an airplane bathroom during an 11-hour flight - a quirky endurance challenge that has now caught the internet’s attention.
Dom Stroh, a content creator and endurance athlete, posted the video on his Instagram account as part of a playful fitness challenge, documenting how he attempted to stay active mid-air despite the severe space constraints of an aircraft cabin.
In the now-viral clip, Stroh could be seen squeezed inside the aircraft’s tiny bathroom as a digital display on the screen showed his target: completing a 5K run during an 11-hour flight. With barely enough room to move, he jogged in tight circles, repeatedly turning around in the confined space.
To keep the challenge going, he improvised with the limited room available as he stepped onto the toilet seat at times, pivoting around and continuously circled the tiny floor area of the restroom.
Despite the awkward setting, Stroh managed to keep moving until he reached his goal. According to the metrics displayed in the video, he ultimately covered 5.53 kilometres in just under an hour, all inside the plane’s bathroom.

Over the past week, social media has been abuzz with rumours claiming that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was killed in an Iranian missile strike. However, there remains no credible evidence. It coincided with his reported absence from cabinet meetings. However, Israel has released videos and images to assert that Netanyahu is alive.
