Former NSA M.K. Narayanan on Operation Sindoor and escalating tensions between India and Pakistan
At The Hindu Huddle, former NSA M.K. Narayanan claimed that the destruction of Pakistan should be the end of this war, while talking about the recent Operation Sindoor launched by the government of India.
When asked what would India’s ‘nuclear option’ in terms of war with Pakistan, Mr. Narayanan urged caution. “I have been to Chernobyl and have seen it first-hand. We cannot think of a nuclear strike when the destruction is massive. I am sure both India and Pakistan have plans ready for such a major strike but they are no match for us as of now”.
“Rest of the world does not care about the global south except for creating trouble between India and Pakistan. Kudos to our political leaders, they have not allowed any global interference in our internal matters. India is second only to China in terms of technology,” said Mr. Narayanan when asked what would happen in India occupied PoK and Pakistan is split into Baloch and Punjab.

After being repeatedly disrupted for three consecutive days over issues ranging from the Governor’s address and alleged disrespect to the national anthem to demands for the resignation of the Excise Minister, among others, normalcy finally returned to the Legislative Council on Friday, with proceedings commencing.
