Vinex Degree College wins The Hindu FIC - IPE College Quiz

Vinex Degree College triumphs at The Hindu FIC - IPE College Quiz, securing top two positions in a competitive event.

KSL Yasmin and K. Helsa, the team representing Vinex Degree College, topped the final round of the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) - The Hindu Future India Club (TH FIC) College Quiz, organised for graduate students, at Alluri Vignana Kendram, in Visakhapatnam on Friday (January 30).

The event saw 620 students, and 310 teams, participating in the preliminary round, with the majority of teams registering online, and 70 teams joining on site. Quizmaster Gautam Bose hosted the event.

Six teams advanced to the finals and battled for the top honours. The rounds included Q&A, negative marking, and a buzzer round. The winning team right from the preliminary round (pen and paper) till the finals dominated by maintaining their lead place throughout.

Ms. Helsa of Vinex Degree College this year’ final winner, was also the topper in the previous year’s TH FIC-IPE College Quiz.

Interestingly, the second prize winners – D. Pudheer and S. Bala – were also from Vinex Degree College. Ch. Sandhya and D. Leela Lakshmi from Pydah College for Women bagged the third prize.
