Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha's upcoming film, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, is all set to set the screens on fire in April. Director Vignesh Shivan took to social media to announce the film's release date with a poster. Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal will release in theatres on April 28. Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies has been brought on board as the distributor.

A few weeks ago, director Vignesh Shivan unveiled the teaser of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which received a massive response from the audience. The film seems to have an interesting take on polyamory as Vijay Sethupathi two-times Nayanthara and Samantha.

On February 21, director Vignesh Shivan took to Twitter to announce the release date of the Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Sharing a new poster, the director wrote, "April 28th in theatres with the grand support of the best @RedGiantMovies_. Thank you @Udhaystalin sir. #KaathuVaakulaRenduKaadhal from 28th April (sic)."

Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal is a romantic comedy featuring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha in lead roles. The film is jointly produced by Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara's Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Productions.

While Sethupathi plays the role of Rambo, Samantha and Nayanthara will be seen as Khatija and Kanmani in the film. Kala Master, Redin Kingsley, Sreeanth, Lollu Sabha Maaran and Prabhu have been roped in to play supporting roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music.
