On July 13, the Madras High Court had dismissed the writ petition filed by Vijay in 2012 for seeking tax exemption on his Rolls-Royce Ghost. The Bigil actor was asked to pay a fine of Rs 1 lakh to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Covid-19 Relief Fund.
