Vijay Mallya's Kingfisher House sold for just Rs 52 crore in 9th attempt

The Kingfisher House was sold at just Rs 52 crore to a Hyderabad-based firm in the ninth attempt. The property initially has a base price of Rs 150 crore.

Fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya's Kingfisher House, located in Mumbai's posh Vile Parle, has been sold to the Hyderabad-based Saturn Realtors for Rs 52.25 crore by the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT). Kingfisher House, once the headquarters of the fugitive liquor baron Vijay Mallya's Kingfisher Airlines (now defunct), was sold in the ninth attempt for almost one third of its reserve price of Rs 135 crore.
