Video shows several men attacking Turkish woman in Pakistan's Lahore

A video of 30-40 men attacking a Turkish woman outside a Lahore Metro station has surfaced online.

A video of several men harassing, attacking, and molesting a woman outside a Metro station in Pakistan has gone viral. The claim along with the video states that the woman was from Turkey.

The incident purportedly takes place in Azad Chowk Metro station in Lahore Pakistan. The video shows the woman being pursued by a few men at first to a fruit stall where an altercation seems to take place. After that, the woman tries to escape to the Metro station, but she is chased inside by the men. However, India Today couldn't independently verify the veracity of the video.

The video was a grim reminder of a similar incident in August last year when a TikToker in Pakistan alleged that she was assaulted and thrown into the air by hundreds of people during the country's Independence Day celebrations on August 14.

That incident, too, had occurred in Lahore. A video of the incident went viral on social media with claims that the woman in the video was groped and assaulted at Greater Iqbal Park by a mob to the extent that her clothes were torn.
