Vicky Kaushal starts prep for Karan Johar's next with Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk

Karan Johar is all set to produce a romantic comedy starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. The film will be directed by Anand Tiwari.

Vicky Kaushal has started working on his next film, a romantic comedy which will be backed by Karan Johar. On Wednesday, March 2, the actor took to Instagram to mark the “new beginnings” with some videos. The upcoming film will be helmed by Anand Tiwari and will star Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk alongside Vicky.

Vicky Kaushal has begun preparing for Karan Johar's next production. The actor shared a couple of fun Instagram videos and marked new beginnings. The actor will be seen in a new look in the film which also features Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk.

A source close to the film’s development revealed the details of the shoot to Pinkvilla and said, “Vicky and Triptii will be shooting at a Mumbai studio for a month, after which they will head to Delhi and a few other locations in North India. However, the makers will do one final recce there before they roll with their second schedule. The film also features Ammy Virk in a pivotal role. It’s an extremely entertaining and unique script, but also has an important message for the audience. The team did a few readings before they started shooting for the film.”

Vicky Kaushal has an interesting slate of films lined up. He will be seen in Dinesh Vijan’s rom-com with Sara Ali Khan, Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur with Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Dhar's The Immortal Ashwatthama and Shashank Khaitan’s Govinda Naam Mera with Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani.
