Vicky and Katrina tied the knot on December 9, 2021 in Rajasthan.On the 8th episode, Vicky revealed what he told the pandit just before tying the knot with Katrina.
Karan Johar quizzed Vicky Kaushal about his hush-hush but grand wedding in Rajasthan. Karan spoke about their relationship and told Vicky that he was responsible for their love story. He said, "Maine aap ke prem kahani ke liye pura credit le liya (I have taken the full credit for your love story)!” Vicky nodded in agreement and said, “My moment on this couch last season was my way of knowing that she (Katrina Kaif) even knew I existed.”
Vicky then revealed that after their previous Koffee With Karan episodes aired, he met Katrina for the first time at Zoya Akhtar's home. And then there was no looking back!
Vicky also divulged many moments from his wedding with Katrina. He said that during his wedding he told the pandit to do the rituals in an hour after hearing news of 'drones being shot down'.
He said, “While all these random news were making the rounds, I was just there with the pandit ji saying, jaldi nipta dena please. Ek ghante se jyada nahi (please compete all wedding rituals soon; they should not take more than an hour)."
Talking about the many memes that went viral, Vicky said, “Every day during the wedding, these funny memes, tweets and messages would be shared on the internet and we were aware. We had my friends who read them out for us to have a good laugh. We used to have a blast finding them.”
On December 9, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal shared some breathtaking pictures from their wedding ceremony. The couple wrote, "Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment. Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together (sic)."
