Vicky Kaushal recently watched Ranbir Kapoor's Shamshera. The actor gave a thumbs up to the film. However, fans disagree with the actor.

Ranbir Kapoor returned to the big screen after a hiatus of 4 years.The actor marked his comeback to films with Shamshera, directed by Karan Malhotra. Unfortunately, the film, also starring Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor, is struggling to work at the box office. Shamshera opened to mixed reviews from the critics and audience on July 22, 2022. Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal recently watched the YRF film and gave a thumbs up to Shamshera. However, fans don't agree with Vicky's review.

A video of Vicky Kaushal giving a thumbs up to Ranbir Kapoor's film is going viral on social media. In the video, shared by a paparazzo, Vicky is asked to say a few lines about Shamshera. However, the actor doesn't say much and lets his expressions do the talking. After Vicky gave a thumbs up to the film, fans disagreed with his review on social media.

One netizen took to the comment section and wrote, "Pakka vicky ko film pasand nahi ayi hai but kya bole bichara (sic)." Another netizen added, "He really didn’t want to hurt the makers’s feelings but also couldn’t stand there and lie (sic)." One more user went on to write, "Bichara Vicky..itni bakwas movie hai ki dekhne ke badh shab hi nhi nikl rahe muh se (sic)."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vicky Kaushal has a couple of films lined up. The actor will be seen in Govinda Naam Mera with Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar. Vicky also has Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur and The Immortal Ashwatthama. Besides these films, the actor will be seen with Sara Ali Khan in an untitled film.
