Varun Tej's Ghani has been postponed again. Directed by Kiran Korrapati, the film was scheduled to hit the theatres on February 25. The makers decided to push Ghani’s release date as they wanted to avoid the film’s clash with Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak at the box office.
On February 1, the makers of Ghani announced two possible release dates. In RRR style, they said the film would either hit the theatres on February 25 or March 4. Out of the two dates, they finalised the former. But now, the film has been postponed again to avoid clash with Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak.
The statement shared by Ghani makers on Twitter read, "We are overwhelmed with the love you are showering on Ghani. Your encouragement motivates us to keep moving forward with faith in these tough times. As Bheemla Nayak is going to hit the cinemas on Feb 25th, we are pushing the release date of Ghani. New release date will be announced soon. We are equally excited as fans and ready to experience the power storm of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan garu on big screens (sic).”
