Ajith Kumar's recently released Valimai is having a fantastic response at the box office. According to trade reports, the film has crossed Rs 100 crore at the worldwide box office in just three days. It is said that Valimai saw huge growth during the weekend. If reports are anything to go by, youngsters and family audiences are thronging to the theatres to watch the action thriller.

Valimai is an action thriller, directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor. After two long years, the film hit the theatres on February 24 and opened to mixed reviews. Ajith's ardent fans celebrated Valimai Day by pouring milk on his cut-outs and bursting crackers.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to Twitter and wrote that Valimai has crossed Rs 100 crore at the box office in just three days. He further added that the opening weekend collections saw a gradual increase with family audiences visiting the theatres.

Trade analyst LM Kaushik pointed out that the film's collection picked up on Sunday (February 27). In Chennai, Valimai collected Rs 1.47 crore, thereby taking the total collection (4 days) to Rs 5.71 crore.
