Valimai box office collection Day 21: Ajith's film to reach another milestone

Ajith Kumar's Valimai, directed by H Vinoth, is all set to complete 25 days in cinemas. The actor's die-hard fans are gearing up to celebrate the special occasion.

Ajith Kumar's Valimai is all set to reach another milestone. The film, which released on February 24, will be completing 25 days in theatres this week. Many theatres across Tamil Nadu have planned special celebrations to celebrate Valimai all over again. Directed by H Vinoth, Valimai is a high-octane action entertainer, bankrolled by Boney Kapoor.

February 24 was celebrated as Valimai Day as the film hit the theatres amid huge expectations. Ajith's ardent fans celebrated the day like a carnival. From putting up huge cut-outs of Ajith to pouring milk over them and bursting crackers, they did it all.

This week, Valimai will complete 25 days in theatres. Chennai's Ram Muthuram Cinemas is organising special shows for the Valimai on its 25th day. Their post on Twitter read, "#Valimai 25th day Grand celebration coming Sunday in your Ram Cinemas. Ticket booking for the show will open today evening 7PM in both online and counter #ValimaiInRamCinemas (sic)."

Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, in his tweet, wrote that the film has collected Rs 224.80 crore so far. Many screens across the globe have signed up Valimai for the fourth week.
