
Uttar Pradesh includes Sanskrit as subject from Class 1, opposition raises questions

The UP Education Department has decided to introduce Sanskrit language as a subject for the students of Class 1 onwards in schools.
The Basic Education Department Uttar Pradesh has included Sanskrit subject for the students of Class 1 onwards in department schools. While Vedic Maths has been included in the syllabus for Class 4-5 students in the state. During the revision of the school syllabus, topics like the removal of Articles 370 and 35 A by the central government in Kashmir and the bravery of Guru Govind Singh will also add up as chapters in the textbooks of Basic Education schools.More Related News
