US-India Strategic Partnership Forum on Wednesday pledged one lakh oxygen concentrators for India of which 31,000 pieces would reach the country by the end of May with an objective to hit the one lakh-mark soon.

Speaking to India Today TV from Washington DC on Wednesday, Mukesh Aghi, CEO of the bilateral trade and commerce forum said, “Our objective is to source 1,00,000 oxygen concentrators, which is not enough for a large country such as India but at least that is a good start. Our issue is not financing. It is sourcing, logistics and distribution." While speaking about mobilising resources, Mukesh Aghi raised the issue of challenges being posed by China in sourcing and transporting the oxygen concentrators to India.
