Two Lakhimpur Kheri sugar mills made changes to their programme on Tuesday and have now invited District Magistrate Mahendra Bahadur instead of Union MoS Ajay Misra to inaugurate events. This comes after BKU leader Rakesh Tikait's warning that farmers would keep away from the mills if the MoS attended the function.
Two sugar mills in Lakhimpur Kheri, which had invited Union minister Ajay Misra to inaugurate the sugarcane crushing season, made changes to their programme on Tuesday, apparently after farmer leader Rakesh Tikait’s warning that farmers would keep away from the mills if the MoS attended the function.
Misra, the Minister of State (MoS) for Home and an MP from Kheri, is in the eye of the storm over the killing of four farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri.

Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son, Tej Pratap, is speaking of wisdom and devotion again. He's no longer the Krishna bhakt that he was. He is now sporting saffron attire in Reels, and is propagating Shiva bhakti. His new Instagram handle is SantTejPratapYadav. After political and personal isolation, Teju bhaiya seems to have found solace in Rudraksha, Shiva bhajans and the Shiva Puran.
