The teachers in UP government schools have been asked to work from home due to the current surge in Covid-19 cases across the country.
The government of Uttar Pradesh has allowed the teachers of government schools across the state to work from home amid the current surge of Covid-19 cases. The teachers have been asked to work from their residence till May 20, as per the order. The announcement regarding the working arrangement of teachers was made by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Minister Satish Dwivedi. He said that this decision has been taken by the state government due to the current pandemic situation. Earlier, the government of Uttar Pradesh had given an order to shut down the educational institutes in the state till April 30 due to the rise in Covid-19 cases across the state. The closure of educational institutes has now been extended.
