
UP Government to distribute smartphones, tablets to students

The Uttar Pradesh government will distribute tablets and smartphones to students pursuing higher studies.
On Tuesday, the Uttar Pradesh cabinet approved the scheme of distributing free tablets and smartphones among the students who are pursuing higher studies. As per a statement by the government, the scheme will put a burden of Rs. 3000 crore on the state exchequer, reported by PTI.
The Chief Minister has been authorised to make any amendments to resolve practical difficulties in the scheme. The statement further states that the decision for the distribution of the gadgets was taken keeping in mind the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, as classes are being held online.

Students who appeared for the Bihar School Examination Board Class 12 exams can now access their results through multiple platforms, including the India Today Board Results page for smoother and quicker access. With heavy traffic expected on official websites, this alternative option ensures students can check their scores without delays or technical glitches.
