UP CM Yogi Adityanath announces reopening of sugar mill in Mathura after 13 years

Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election to be held early next year, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday announced the reopening of the Chhata Sugar Mill in Mathura district of the state.

Established by then MLA Babu Tejpal Singh in 1978, the sugar mill in Chhata tehsil was shut down in 2008. It is being reopened after thirteen years and a budget of Rs 5 crore has been allocated for the same.
