Unitech promoter Sanjay Chandra’s wife, father arrested by ED in money laundering

Sanjay Chandra’s wife Preeti Chandra and his father Ramesh Chandra were arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Monday.

Unitech Group’s former promoter Sanjay Chandra’s wife Preeti Chandra and his father Ramesh Chandra were arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Monday in connection with a money laundering case, officials told India Today. Along with them, Rajesh Malik, a senior employee of Carnoustie Group was also arrested by the financial probe agency. Sanjay Chandra was earlier arrested by ED, and he is currently in jail.

Sources have told India Today that all three were summoned by the ED for questioning in Delhi and later, all of them were placed under arrest for their alleged involvement in the money laundering case. All three were allegedly non-cooperative during the investigation.
