Union Cabinet approves Central University in Ladakh, to cost Rs 750 crore

Cabinet has approved the formation of a Central University in Ladakh. The university will be constructed at a cost of Rs 750 crore, Union minister Anurag Thakur announced on Thursday.

The Union Cabinet has approved the establishment of a Central University in the Union Territory of Ladakh, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur announced on Thursday. “Two important decisions for Ladakh have been taken. The Cabinet has approved a Central University in Ladakh at a cost of Rs 750 crore and an integrated, multipurpose corporation will be set up in Ladakh,” Union minister Anurag Thakur said.
